George Levy - CEO
George was the Vice President and General Manager for Datacard’s Plastics division worldwide. He was responsible for all plastic manufacturing and service bureaus in Germany, England, France and the U.S. He is an expert in the plastic card manufacturing industry and is among the top smart card minds in the world.
His knowledge across the spectrum of card and smart card markets, including ski resort, parking, education, EBT, driver’s license, corporate security ID, electronic purse and government brings an unmatched degree of expertise to the Los Angeles dealership.George brings extensive technical knowledge of industry to the dealership. He has worked with contact and contact-less smart card applications, combo and hybrid smart cards, multi-functional card-base media, and effects of dye-sublimation/thermal transfer on a variety of plastic card materials.
His strong understanding of the plastic card industry and portfolio of industry relationships (Datacard, Gemplus, Schlumberger, Bull, Mondex, CardXX, etc.) allows George to identify and secure strategic partnerships essential to offering turn-key card based solutions to the RockWest customer base.
Hugo Garcia - Vice-President Professional Services
Hugo has been involved in the card personalization business in the Los Angeles area since 1980. He spent 12 years with National Business Systems where he held positions and responsibilities as: Service Technician, District Service Manager, Regional Service Manager, Office Manager and Sales Manager. As a Sales Manager Hugo was awarded with 100% Presidents Club Award for the three years he held that position.
Hugo had been with Datacard for over 8 years and has held positions and responsibilities with Datacard as Senior Sales Representative, Western Regional Director of Sales for FS, District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Dealer Manager and Dealer Program Manager. Hugo received 100 Club Awards for the three years he was a Senior Sales Representative in the Los Angeles Datacard office.
Hugo brings an unparalleled knowledge of the area’s customer base, prospects, markets, and what it takes to generate revenue and maintain a successful dealership. He has an established relationship with many colleagues in Datacard and with the dealer program, which helps establish a high degree of confidence within Datacard.
Matt McDaniel - Vice President
Before founding Affinity Business Systems in 1999 (one of the RockWest Companies), Matt was the Western Area Business Development Manager for Datacard Corporation and ran the Denver Sales and Service office. While at Datacard, he worked on several enterprise identification management solutions, including a smart card-based portable electronic medial record project and government ID projects with the State of Colorado, EPA, Bureau of Reclamation and Denver International Airport.
Matt manages RockWest’s Sales, Business Development, Project Management teams, and is a Board Member for the Identifications Systems Group (ISG). He is heavily involved in the company’s secure government ID solutions and smart card projects for colleges and universities. His expertise in NIMS-based incident management solutions, as well as emerging FIPS and PIV federal ID standards continues to keep RockWest at the forefront of providing leading edge solutions to the government market. He is currently engaged in smart card projects in the university market that will deliver physical and logical security, cashless payment and financial applications to a student ID card.
Matt served as Chairman of the Datacard Dealer Advisory Council from 2001-2004 and currently serves in the Identification Systems Group (ISG) Product Development Council.
Stan McKinney - Vice President
Before he founded Authentic Data Solutions in 1999, one of the RockWest Technology Group companies, Stan McKinney served as Director of Datacard’s North American Dealer program. He successfully began the expansion of the North American Dealer Channel to provide coverage for the entire United States and Canada. McKinney’s other experiences in sales management include 10 years with Hewlett Packard and IBM.
Today, McKinney leverages these experiences in leading the business development and sales initiatives for RockWest Technology Group in the education market for both K-12 and Higher Education to strengthen school security. His focus on training, tradeshows, customer satisfaction, and improvement helps keep RockWest as a leader in the education markets.
He is currently a liaison for the business development of the MOCA™ Enabled solution for use on higher education campuses as well as in the K-12 market. This “one-card” MOCA™ Enabled solution will offer customers the security they need through a functional platform. He is a Managing Principal and member of the RockWest Board of Directors.
